Truth Minis
“How do we know that two and two make four?
Or that the force of gravity works?
Or that the past is unchangeable?
If both the past and the external world exist only in the mind,
and if the mind itself is controllable
– WHAT THEN?”
-- George Orwell from 1984.
What is truth?
Is what you see really there?
Is what you hear really there?
Is what you experience really happening?
How do we know anything?
So much of our world today has become the creative result of propaganda and manipulations. We no longer know what is real and what is not. And yet we don't question. We don't ask ourselves, did what we see and hear really happen. We don't challenge ideas that seem to agree with what we already think, even if they seem unreasonable.
Why?
You are invited to examine your own truths. To reflect on if what you are seeing is really there. To question what you are seeing. To find other truths that may be overlooked. But most importantly, to ponder
Why are you seeing what you think you are?
